The mother deity herself, Isis, is the Egyptian goddess of fertility, protection, wisdom, motherhood, magic, medicine, and healing. She is frequently displayed in a few different forms, with one of the most prominent involving her having large feathered wings underneath her arms, as she does in this beautifully striking statuette.
